Overview: The North Carolina Department of Commerce tracks trends to gauge the economic development within the region. Factors like economic well-being, R&D, commercialization, innovative organizations, and education & workforce. Their findings are published in the Tracking Innovation Annual Report. This meeting will include a presentation from John Hardin, the Department's Executive Director, will give an overview of the report and will then lead a panel of IT leaders in a discussion on how it has manifested at their organizations.
