Overview:  Organizational leaders have a unique twist to the challenge of building trust, leading and motivating their team with the pandemic limiting in-person interactions and meetings. Communication becomes even more important when motivating individuals to be aspirational, take the initiative and defend the organization’s overall mission and values. 

The Six Domains of Leadership Model was developed by two Duke Professors (Sim Sitkin and Allan Lind) to bridge that gap between what was rigorously tested and what was practically useful. They focused on desired effects and found that six clusters of behaviors results in specific leader impacts on those they led. They have identified key lessons for improving leader effectiveness, using this model. This meeting will feature Sim Sitkin sharing the foundation of the Six Domains of Leadership Model and best practices to improve overall leadership.
