Overview:  One of the most important and challenging jobs of the CIO is to develop an IT strategic plan for their organization. It is vital to have a clear roadmap that aligns technology goals to mitigate risks, optimize resources and foster innovation, while providing the company with a competitive advantage.

Dr. Ken Russell, CIO for the New College Institute, led a discussion on best practices and lessons learned from developing an IT strategic plan.
